Q: How many hours do I need to renew my esthetics license?

A: Illinois requires Licensed Estheticians to accumulate 10 hours of continuing education every two years to maintain their esthetics license.

Q: Can I receive C.E hours for medical aesthetic classes?

A. Unfortunately, no. Medical aesthetics treatments fall under a physicians license and are past the scope of practice for licensed estheticians.
